Take a train from Shanghai South Railway Station, to ZhuJi (诸暨)
[example : 20:00 departure, arrival at 23:00 in Zhuji. There also is an express train around 07:00AM, needs only two hours to get there.]

Then find a car/minibus/taxi.. anything to reach LiaoZhai Village (廖宅村), in 1hr and for around 100RMB for a car.
The driver should take you to the start of the hike directly if you manage to tell him what you’re looking for.

Once on the trail, 100m after start turn right to follow the trail along the river, then it’s virtually impossible to get lost.

Around 1000m of elevation to climb to the summit which would take about 5hrs. Nice scenery along the trail (waterfalls, fields of tea, ect…)

At the middle point of te hike you’ll go through a tea makers village whee you can stop and have lunch.

After reaching the summit, you go back down, heading South and ending by stonesteps. If in time to camp, take on your right after the stairs, nice place for setting up the tent near the river.

Then continue on the same trail until reaching a road. Turn left on this road and walk until you reach a small village with a lake. You can there buy tea directly to the producers on this market (at 东白山茶场).

Then your mission is to find a car to DongYang (东阳市) (1hr by car). From DongYang you can take a bus to Shanghai (~100rmb, 5hrs) or head to the next city and take a train back home.

Just went this weekend to 东白山. The instructions work a treat. Exactly as discribed. Could be made into a 2 day 2 night trip easy. Hike up was simple. Trip back worried me but it too was simple enough. Lots of minibuses to take you back to 诸暨 and from there a train back to 上海.

Camping above the treeline was what seemed to be popular with the Chinese but since there were no firewood up on the peak, nor any flat ground in between, we camped just as the tree line broke. The insects were annoying as usual in the morning but with the fire going at night, it was a perfect camping experience.

报名条件：适合任何人群参加。俱乐部组织活动不同于旅行社，在组织中难免有不可预计的情况产生，领队有权利根据当时情况调整活动计划，如有参加旅行社思想的人员请慎重报名。

活动背景：
东白山位于东阳与诸暨市的交界处，是当地的最高峰，地处会稽山脉南端，主峰太白峰高1194.7米。从山脚小村庄沿小径蜿蜒而上，一路层林叠翠，古藤虬结，石桥，香榧古木，令人陶然欲醉……尤其是东白山日出蔚为壮观。诸暨市曾为越国古都，而且也是西施的故乡。诸暨的斯宅至今保留了精美完好的徽派古建筑群，一个默默无闻的小村子、淳朴的民风和对祖居的珍惜，让我们去探访潜藏在诸暨、东阳、嵊县三市交接之古村。

21：00 在上海人民广场博物馆后面右侧三根旗杆处集合，包车前往诸暨，凌晨3点左右至廖宅村，夜宿村口水泥马路上。

D2：4/4
07：00　起床后我们先在周围廖宅看看徽派建筑，然后简单的早餐，并购买相关物资，比如烟火之类的东东。
08：00 离开寥宅，开始我们穿越东白山的征程，由村南的西边小径沿溪水上山，路上有一段三级的小瀑布，甚为诱人，经过茶园、松林到达主峰顶，峰顶有一BP机发射站，还有一尼姑庵。
16：00 扎营于峰顶。
17：00 开始生火做饭，大家把好吃的都拿出来共享一下吧。
19：00 夜晚数星星好亮啊，大家聚在一起聊聊天、杀杀人、数数星星，一切是那么美好！ 23：00 不早啦，今天也累了，大家早点休息，明天路还长着呢。

05：00 喜欢大自然的可以早起观日出，懒人们则可以继续呼呼大睡。
08：00 也不早了，该起来吃早餐了
09：00 早餐后从南坡下山，石阶路、小路、公路，沿水库走，再穿小路抵达东白茶场，车在这里等我们。
14：00 一路的辛苦把大家饿坏了吧，我们开车到东阳找个饭店好好FB一下
15：00 酒足饭饱，回上海喽~~~~

装备情况（非全部必须）
1． 帐篷、睡袋（5度）防水保护、防潮垫、登山背包（建议另加包套）。
2． 登山鞋，登山杖。
3． 手套。
4． 冲锋衣裤。
5． 请尽量使用有聚光灯泡的头灯，LED的可做备用。
其它物品（非全部必须）
1、另备内衣裤1套，防水保护；
2、雨具、洗漱用品、巨型垃圾袋、水壶水袋、多功能刀具、（小型）指南针；
3、食品：水（2升）、干粮（1早餐、1午餐、1晚餐）
4、公共装备：对讲机若干部。
