GYEONGJU – Seokguram Grotto
Posted in korea, photos, travel on 09/11/2010 04:55 pm by CeDyou reach the grotto after a 15min walk along a nice and refreshing path through the forest, ideally covered by trees, a relief !
A beautiful 3.5m high buddha sits in the middle of the grotto. As the humidity and air is tightly controlled to protect the place, it is forbidden to enter inside the chamber (with one exception : on the birthday of Buddha, when authorities remove the glass wall).
