Found these littles fellow at the Shilla Millenium Park… a strange tourist park where you can learn about life in the kingdom of Shilla (57 BC – 935 AD), one of the Ancient Three Kingdoms of Korea.

interesting set-up : your ribs and vegetables come straight from this start-trek looking house, and land on the barbecue plate. No need for a waiter anymore.
Haha just kidding
enjoy delicious meat without the inconvenience of smoke! D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. !

A funny place to explore, although in the end, not much to bring back home.
We can note that Namdaemun market dates back to 1414, during the reign of King Taejong, as a government managed marketplace. In 1608, [[Seonjo of Joseon|King Seonjo] set up the office of the “tribute bureau” in the district to manage the tributes of rice, cloth and money. A trading marketplace took its form around that time and commercial activities flourished as traders set up various shops. Trade was active in grains, fish, fruit, and miscellaneous goods (source : WIKIPEDIA)

Great building ! but only a few very astonishing pieces inside. Interesting to see how many treasures were taken away to Japan during the Japanese occupation of Korea from 1910 to 1945, then returned to Korea in the 60′s

after seeing so many temples and palaces in Asia, I was a bit skeptical before my visit. But rejoy!! Gyeongbokgung is NOT just another palace, but a place of serenity where things are human sized and it is a real pleasure to wander around.
