BORNEO — night trek

Still in the jungle on Kinabatangan river, we also had a night walk in the surrounding forest. Quite funny to look for animals with your torch, although again…. didn’t see that many things

BORNEO — Kinabatangan river

February 2010 : part of our 7 days Borneo escape (details here), we  spent a few days in Borneo Jungle near the Kinabatangan river, with Uncle Tan.
saw a few wild stuff during our river safari, not much, but still, it was funny.

Proboscis monkey family jumping away

A colorful kingfisher lurking for some fresh fish

A lazy varan busy suntanning

a proud river eagle looking for anythng to eat

hiho friendly long tail macaque, most common species there

and two happy tourists :-)
